We built Zèya because buying new got old.
Every year, billions of items get thrown out while billions more get bought to replace them. We built Zèya to break that loop. Swap what you have for what you need. Nothing wasted, no shipping either.
Our Philosophy
We don't think people need to care about sustainability to make a sustainable choice. They just need a better option. Zèya is that option. Swap instead of buy, trade instead of trash, connect instead of scroll past.
The most powerful thing about Zèya isn't the app. It's the idea that your stuff has value beyond what you paid for it, and someone near you already wants it.
Why we built this
We kept seeing the same thing. Homes full of stuff people didn't use anymore – closets, garages, spare rooms, kitchen drawers – sitting next to wishlists full of things they couldn't justify buying. The gap between those things felt like a problem worth solving.
Zèya started as a simple question: what if getting something you need didn't mean buying something new? Everything else followed from that.

The values that make Zèya worth building.
We're not just building an app. We're building a different way to think about ownership, consumption, and community.
